Pet turtles have been linked to a multi-state outbreak of salmonella infections, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported Tuesday.
In an advisory, the CDC said from March to August there have been 37 cases and 16 hospitalizations across the country. New York state saw the most cases, reporting 11 people infected with salmonella.
